I think that sounds like a great Tintin adventure…!

A worldwide Day of Botanical Art will be held on May 18, 2018

Botanical Art Worldwide is an international collaboration of botanical artists, organisations, and institutions from 23 countries creating and exhibiting artworks of rare or common native plants found in each country.

In Scotland we will be participating in Flora Scotia an exhibition at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

On the 18th May, which has been designated as a worldwide day of botanic art, there will be events including broadcasts from the other participating countries showcasing their artists, institutions and organisations.

I have been privileged to be selected as one of the participating artists, which is amazing. My Dryopteris affinis will be on display alongside work from a group of fantastic artists based here in Scotland.

Come along and see our work.
