An original pen and ink illustration of Arisaema tortuosum.
One of the may things I love about this Arisaema is the patina on the pseudostem, it’s so amazing, I couldn’t believe how fantastic it was as this specimen grew, I just had to capture that, and I love the process as the leaflets and flower un pack themselves and fill out, at some points it looks like a little squid, at some points the silhouette is so graceful.
